COLUMBIA, SC — June 18, 2024 — Putnam’s Harbor Marina has officially opened on Lake Murray, bringing a premier boating facility to the area. This state-of-the-art marina is designed to meet all boating needs, offering top-tier amenities and services for an unparalleled experience on the water. The marina marks the first marina in the Columbia-area to be a South Carolina Boating & Fishing Alliance (SCBFA) certified partner.

The side of storage is not lacking though, the marina boasts the tallest dry stack in the state of South Carolina and one of the five tallest in the world. In addition to the towering dry stack, Putnam’s has a 7-row high stack built specifically for pontoons and tritoons, a first in the area. With a total 340 storage spaces, the marina provides ample accommodation for boats of all sizes.

Four years later, I’m proud to say that vision has become a reality with the opening of Putnam’s Harbor,” said Crutchfield.
